About me

Eva Plays

As a child, Eva always had a flair for the arts. Her journey started out with classical piano training at the age of 7. Years later, she found an old acoustic guitar in her basement and began teaching herself a new instrument. Later on, she picked up bass and began singing. She also started to delve into the world of music production throughout her teen years.

In September of 2020, Eva joined her local School of Rock, which paved the road for her later achievements as musician and performer. Her guitar skills and vocals have drastically improved. Her stage presence and love for performance helped her get accepted into the School of Rock Allstar Band as a vocalist. In this highly selective group, Eva gained touring experience performing at numerous venues across New England, New York, and New Jersey.

Currently, Eva is a senior at Berklee College of Music where she is a four-time Dean’s List Awardee majoring in Independent Recording & Production. She has been an active member and leader of multiple performance ensembles, and also tirelessly works as a producer and mixing engineer for countless projects, both as a collaborator and an individual contributor. She also participates in jam sessions as a pianist and bassist for a plethora of gigs around college.

Eva’s musical styles and inspirations live somewhere between the lo-fi indie sound of Pinegrove, the smoothness of D’Angelo, the jazzy hecticness of Jacob Collier, and the soul of Amy Winehouse. Her debut single along with a four-song EP were released in the summer of 2026. She is expected to perform as much as she can, both around her suburban Philly hometown and in Boston throughout the fall.
